Lake Anna is easily accessed from two major interstate highways. Located in central Virginia only 18 miles west of Interstate 95 at exit 118 (Thornburg) and 22 miles east of Interstate 64 at exit 143 (Ferncliff).
Directions from Mapquest
Directions from the highways:
From I 95:
- Take exit 118, which is Route 606 Thornburg.
- Take Route 606 west for 4 miles
- 606 joins with route 208 at Snell. Follow 208 West for 8 miles
- Turn left at Post Oak (still on 208 West) and go 10.9 miles
- Turn right onto Anna Point Lane.
- Shaffer’s Cove Condos are located on the right hand side.
From I 64 east
- pick up I 95 at Richmond and follow above directions.
From I 64 west
- Take exit 143 Ferncliff which is Route 208.
- Take 208 east for 22 miles
- Turn left onto Anna Point Lane, which will be your 2nd left after you cross the 208 bridge.
(Follow 208 east signs carefully as you will make a right turn in Louisa and two left turns in Mineral, and then another right turn at Dickinson’s Store.)
